I did some research and the average cost of Law School in NYC full time is 54,382 per year. For 3 years it's about 165k for tuition alone. This doesn't include living expenses or cost of living in manhattan. Average cost of rent is 30k a year and another 20k for living expenses. Another 50k with a total of 150k.

Let's go back to tuition again, there are studies and programs currently at NYU that offer free tuition for the first 4 year. Now the question is can and should law schools do this?

Which basically means for every student that gets accepted, different from getting every program or scholarships. EVERYONE, "All individuals, including those with previous criminal convictions and other prior involvement in the criminal justice system, are encouraged to apply. Please be advised that in addition to a bar examination, there are character, fitness, and other qualifications for admission to the bar in every U.S. jurisdiction." Now let's say the world screws with you and somehow you don't get all the necessary requirements and you have to pay for the tuition out of pocket, comes back to the first thing I said, for 3 full years it's 165k.

I can guarantee to make that amount of money at the very least and be able to support you through law school. I just need to go out of state and take the job opportunities that were offered to me multiple times. It was stopped by you in the past because you wanted me to come home every night. spend time and have dinner with you. But since you want to move to NYC, closer to school. It shouldn't collide with each other's schedule.

The JD program is available for everyone. I called some current NYU law students and they are able to confirm the accuracy of these before covid started, with covid there are some changes but it's not for the worse. Everyone is different but they are grade related and family income conditions.

Working out of state then I'm able to save more money there, and rent out the apartment. pay for your law school so your parents don't need to be involved.

Here are the steps you'll want to take to get into law school:

Research the role of a lawyer. Complete a bachelor's degree. Pass the Law School Admission Test (LSAT). Request your official transcripts. Write a personal statement. Obtain letters of recommendation. Apply to law schools.
