Co worker almost lost his kid this way, they're divorced and she took their daughter to see her grandfather and apparently their daughters visa expired and she couldn't get back.

It's a risk anyone should think about when marrying someone who has the ability to take your kids over to a place that won't ahead a tear for you.

This stuff is far to common.

To be fair, Japanese courts would show the same bias in favour of Japanese father against non-Japanese mother.

Also the courts will side with her purely on the fact she is Japanese racism is a big problem in Asia people don't want to talk about it
