Why would you get laughed at for learning? I think you're hanging around the wrong crowd. Besides, now everything is explained on youtube. You can literally do anything if you're moderately intelligent.

I literally dont care anymore what society or anybody expects of me while society is shoving down my throat that women are equal to me and have no geneder roles to follow.
I dont fix anything if is not mine, i dont help anybody if its not in my interest anymore, thats gone.

You should not be mocked for not knowing something.

Everyone didn't know what they know now at some point.

Can I replace a door know or build a fence? Yes!

Can I do electrical work? Probably...but I will probably hire it out. I would rather pay than do it wrong and burn down my house.

Many times you will find that those who.make fun of lack of knowledge also dont know or do it wrong.

Dont let people discourage you from learning, when you get good at those things and people suddenly want you to do things for them, rub it in their face because they had it coming

They want people to know certain things and then at the same time they laugh when the person wants to learn

If they get dissapointed that someone doesn't know something, that's on them. No one asked them to go around discouraging people

You don't need to learn how to fix things if you find a girl who knows how to fix things. Just like how if a girl doesn't know how to cook she can find a guy who can. And YouTube is a great resource if you do want to learn.

Yes, you should know how to do those things, and much more, if nothing other than for your own independence.

But there's no reason to be made fun of for not having the opportunity to learn earlier in life.
