She had done this before, got 6 months, and he still stayed with her.

I'd like to know what was so damn special about her that would make him stay?

This WILL happen again. But next time it could be a child or an elderly person. If she commits another violent crime, the judge should be charged as an accessory. They had the chance to stop this. They chose not to. Now a man is dead.

How is that relevant? If someone abused you years ago, you can go and abuse or kill someone else and go scot-free because you suffered too? And that's assuming it's even true.
