Maybe there should be a study on the present of men who commit suicide based on marital status. Single, married, divorced and divorced in custody battles. I know two men who killed themes. One was fired then his wife left him taking the kids out of state. The other had just lost a very bitter and expensive custody battle along with all of his savings.

Anything but take any responsibility for the situation. I'd like to see some stats on how many suicides are because of the stress of relationships, especially marriage, and becoming alienated from a man's kids via divorce.

I mean, they do have a point, feminists don't cause male suicide. Feminists like these aren't actually driving men to suicide, it is that they are ignoring it. But call it "traditional gender roles", not patriarchy.

Seems like they are blaming established gender norms that make men more likely to own guns and less likely to seek treatment. I think both of those are hard facts to argue with.

Traditional gender roles have always hurt men. Mental illness and suicide rates are a symptom of that fact.

In my country, the main causes of suicides aren't the guns but others, like hanging. According to what I read, the methods of women are less deadly, like taking meds.

I just want to point out that anyone serious about suicide , short of an act of god, is going to succeed. The reason there are more "attempts" by females is that they are more prone to attention seeking behavior. More men die, because they are fucking serious about it.

When the fuck did we blame male suicide rates on feminism and gender equality? I thought we blamed them the fact that nobody cares about men and the resources to help men are far more limited than those to help women.
