It's because you're being nice and supportive when she's complaining, so she will do more of it to get more support and niceness, but ends up associating you with negative emotions.

You can't accept her negative emotion, you need to break it. Tell her to go to the gym or shut the fuck up about it. Tell her she has plenty of guys who are attracted to her, she just isn't attracted to them, and that her low self-esteem is self-inflicted bullshit.

A woman will only do what you allow her to do, if you deny her negative emotions she is going to defer to another emotional state to connect with you, and if she's attracted to you this very often leads to her being happy/sexual. Lift to increase attraction.

Se wants you to VALIDATE her. She wants you to tell her she is beautiful, not fat, she wants you to COMFORT her. She enjoys that you waste your time hearing her whining.

Do you know what she'll like too? Sex.
But she is insecure about it, she's rather keeping things as they are, she whines and you comfort. She's uncomfortable with sex, lots of people are.

Try telling her you're tired of telling her she's hot instead of taking her on an actual date, set the date, make out, escalate seeking to lay her, and do it.

Sometimes self-esteem is like that no matter if the girl is hot and available.
