I posted about my son having a close relationship with my dad the other day.

Well, my son and I were talking last night. We've been catching up since he was in the Marine Corp for 4 years. We talked for HOURS last night.

He told me that he is an emotional man. I can't remember how we got on that subject. He also admitted that he cries sometimes. I told him something like- that's okay, men are allowed to show emotion.

He's a strong, good young man that isn't afraid to show some emotion/vulnerability sometimes.

I wish more men felt okay doing this.
