EDIT: I'm overwhelmed by the support and attention this post got. I've lurked for a while as a man who felt isolated and alone. And I had no idea I would find so much support in a moment of desperation. I truly thank everyone who responded and welcome an ongoing discussion. To provide some clarity, my son had been in therapy for 7 years and I believe what happened last night was a Breakthrough moment after several therapists have given up on him and said he was clearly disturbed but wouldn't open up. We meet with his therapist again this week. I also appreciate the resources given and welcome any and all that you so have. Blogs, podcasts, youtube, anything! I've taken the red pill and it's just starting to take effect so please PLEASE HELP ME UNPLUG! My son needs it!

I am a single Dad. I have one son who's 14 with my ex wife and a daughter in my current (2nd) marriage. Tonight my son had a major emotional meltdown and lashed out at me. After hours of breaking down his wall we finally got to the core of his upset which is that he's afraid to trust me because since I divorced his mom (after she cheated on me, but be doesn't know that because he was less than a year old) she has had a revolving door of relationships and every time he gets close to the new guy she breaks it off. So he's angry at his mom because of her serial monogamy and he takes it out on me because of reasons I'm still trying to wrap my head around. He says he isn't angry at me for leaving and is very clear he's mad at her. I can understand it because she has literally been in 6-7 relationships in the last 13 years and every time ends up kicking the guys to the curb. I know this isn't really a men's rights issue, but truly, I don't have a strong community of buddies I can talk to. And I literally have no other Dad friends. So I'm hoping the mods will forgive me because I could use some support from men. But if this post needs deleted or refered somewhere else, I'll understand. Thanks in advance.
