So, I can't tattoo my child until they are 16 or 18 (depending on state), but I can chop off their foreskin just so it "looks better". Please explain.

Woman takes her son and moves to her parents during lockdown. Presumably the husband is now living alone and going to work while she has her family around. Yet the burden is all on her.

I feel for them. It must be hard having to keep their cosy jobs, because you see, they feel lonely or people will forget what they look like, or learning by zoom is more challenging. These strong, resilient women are amazing for being able to cope with this hardship. I guess the people that have lost their jobs because of the current situation have it much easier. They only have to worry about paying rent/mortgage and feeding themselves and their children.

There are many factories and construction jobs that are in demand. How can we send them applications

I'll be clear, this is just a joke, but this article does a good job of showing the difficulties faced by WAHHHHHmen.

On a serious note, this is an absolutely absurd display of privilege.

However, remote working has left me worried that people might forget the face that matches the name in the email.

Get a cozy paid apprenticeship that you get to keep during pandemic, and your main difficulty is you're worried people won't remember your face.

That is truly above first-world problems. I don't even have a term for it. Privileged people problems?

Article about the impact of lockdown on the careers of young people in Scotland... Well the careers of young people who are also white women as presumably other people matter less.

Another article from the same news site, about the impact of covid on two young women, who just happen to do typically male things like technology and sport.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-55588236

For this one they managed to find a man to report about (non white obviously) to go alongside the 4 or so women in the story.

Considering white men probably make up about 40% of the UK population it's shameful how they are no longer allowed to be included in any positive news stories apart from playing sport.

JFC they're not the first people to have ever gotten a job.
