Except for the male privilege aspect I don't think this suggests women can't be the perpetrators of abuse. I think it more emphasizes that women are always the victims of the abuse. Statistically lesbian relationships are more abusive than straight relationships.

This is called Duluth model.... in it only men can be perps and only woman victims... yes if your wife stabs you its self defence to your dominance.

This is based on the Duluth Model of Domestic violence and it has been both widely criticized and does absolutely nothing to prevent repeat offenses of DV.

It’s homophobic as it excludes LGBT+ relationships.

It’s misandrist as it excludes Women perpetrators of violence.

It’s exclusionary since it is typically not given as an option to black men and women.

It’s all around horrible and doesn’t understand how rehabilitation works, which makes sense because it was cooked up by crackpot activists.
