Let's break this down-

Even a dumb point is still a point. There is nothing "charitable" about calling it that and even if there was, pointing this out is a waste of words.

Any valid rebuttal would undermine what the other person has stated. Why not get to your point?

Also, why interject the adjective "completely"? Is it even possible for a point to be partially undermined?

Labeling something a fact does not make it a fact. If what you are about to say was actually a fact then you would just say it.

Normally people follow up their assertions with support for what they have claimed or elaboration. But if you don't have any you can just repeat the assertion more verbosely. That way people skimming will assume your incomplete thought is actually a complete thought.

Those that invalidate the suffering of male victims of violence because the perpetrators are also male are low IQ and too busy engaged in identity driven tribal politics to be worthwhile or contribute anything meaningful to the discussion.

Say it with me: Male victims of violence are victims regardless of the identity of the attacker.

If you say "It doesn't matter that male victims make up 80% of homicide victims because males are also 7x more likely to murder than women", not only do you lose any rational debate right out of the gate, but you also indirectly admit that you're playing for a team and only care about issues to the degree they affect women.

If women were the majority of murderers then these same people would suddenly start examining childhoods, reasons, and causes. IE; They would suddenly start showing the empathy they deny men.

what does it matter if its done by men its still an issue that deserves to be fixed
women are more likely to be victims but are also more likely to be the perpetrators in domestic violence cases
