POOR HER! Imagine that life, the torture, the pain she must be in, having committed a crime and feeling anxiety about being punished for it. It's like a punishment in itself!

Imagine the horror, let's imagine an adult man raped a girl, and then he would have to spend so much time with the worry and fear of being found out?? It's like living torture.

Although an adult man who rapes a girl child or a random female jogger obviously must go to prison, I think it is important to recognize the fear and pain that a man who rapes a girl or random female jogger will feel, as a result of their worry of being found out, and recognize that it's almost like a lifetime of punishment in itself.

Yet another sexual predator who systemtically raped a child over several years, released back into the community with nothing more than a slap over the wrist, and the seal of approval from an out-of-touch and gender biased old fool - never mind, no real harm done. Listing of women as a sexual offender in the UK is subject to the same gender biases as this cowardly decision.

You have to wonder whether the lack of empathy for child victims of female pedophiles say more about the sexual preferences of the UK judiciary, than about community expectations of the protection of vulnerable children.

She's now a registered sex offender and probably won't ever be able to teach again. And the coverage is at least fair and accurate, and she is rightly being called a pedophile. The time in jail is less of an issue as the reporting and the sex offender status.

I don't want people sitting behind bars for revenge. I want them to get the mental help they need, and if society is better served by her not being jailed, then that's fine.

Plenty of male teachers do the same and don’t go to jail. Especially if it is found out a couple years after the fact
