Some people have said the Rudy Giuliani Borat scene is a reminder that the “Pence rule” is the best way to avoid any sort of false allegations or the appearance of wrongdoing. Aka only be alone with your wife. Obviously, not everyone is married, and not everyone wants to wait until marriage to have sex. What are some ways you all have found to decrease the odds of getting Me Too’d / falsely accused?

Obviously there’s no way to completely avoid the possibility, given the ever expanding definitions of “misconduct” and given some people are just crazy. But even before Me Too, some older guys told me little things they did. For example, if the condom is in your bottom drawer, point it out and have the woman be the one to open the drawer and grab it. Or if you grab the condom, set it in front of the other person and have her be the one to open the condom and put it on you. I feel like guys need to be armed with some sort of things like this in their defense if they are ever accused*

*Have to add the caveat that if you are accused, it’s your word against hers and you’re likely screwed. But having some sort of habit that you always do that indicates she consented can create an opportunity for the other person to back out if she wants to and save your ass from a Me Too situation
