I'm very pleased that in Australia a charity group called Polish Man has started a campaign " Stop violence against children ", as opposed to the usual feminist biased " Stop violence against women and their children." It's a subtle yet meaningful departure from the usual campaigns which lump women and children together as victims whilst failing to acknowledge that women are also perpetrators.

Doesn't that depend a bit on the country? In AU child abuse is very predominantly female, but in the US (from the numbers I've seen, anyway) it's only slightly predominantly female--something like 55% to 45%, IIRC.

Also the link you cite is for filicide, not child abuse overall. I would think numbers on the latter would be more fitting to your argument, no?

I mean my mother was thr one to smack me (nothing serious a slap or once or twice across the butt with a wodden spoon) but i was more afraid of my dad even though he only had to threaten to punch me and i would stop doing whatever i was doing.
