I think it depends on what you're looking for and what he's looking for. If you're looking for a LTR and he's not, you need to stop seeing him. If you're both looking for a LTR, then it sounds like he just doesn't have the alpha/beta balanced quite yet. As someone mentioned, direct him to MMSL. I think you might be forgetting that a RPM and RPW have different life goals (hint, that's why there are different sub-reddits).

Are you physically intimate? If so, then you are a plate...which is never a good thing. Stop seeing him immediately. Clearly he doesn't want you for a relationship, if he did, you would be in one with him already. Good men that want an LTR do not hesitate to scoop up a good woman when they find one.

What are your weaknesses? I disagree with the people saying that his tactics are out of balance. While that may or may not be true, you (as a woman) have a role in this as well. Is his distance preceded by an unreasonable bout of emotion by you?

I'm not saying you are a bad RPW, just that good RPW understand and acknowledge their weaknesses so they can watch them closely and guard against bad behavior.

What is happening is that he sees you when he gets tired of his other girls. You are fun for a while, but then he gets itchy feet and moves on to the next girl in the rotation.

If this is what you want, then go ahead and keep him in your life. If you want something more in terms of a relationship, kick him to the curb immediately and next time get a commitment of exclusivity.

Keep well in mind that being a plate for some guy who doesn't give a crap about you is about as far from RPW as you can get.

Any texts or calls after 12 from a man you are not exclusive with indicates that you are a booty call/plate/whatever the current term may be. It sounds like he is rather RP if he is giving you plenty of attention and then cutting you off. There is a difference between being with a RP man and being in a RP relationship. Are you just seeing this gentleman or are ya'll serious?

It sounds like you're a plate, and it looks like you've admitted you ARE a plate.

Are you proving yourself to be worthy of an LTR with him? Are you displaying different, better traits and abilities that the other plates don't have? If not, then your problem starts there.

It sounds like he's gaming you perfectly, because you keep coming back for more due to the mixed signals. But if you can't get him to commit to you (it may be your fault, he may just be in the plate-spinning phase of RP life, or he may not have the alpha-beta mix for LTRs), it's on you to stop being his plate and try to find someone willing to be in an LTR with you, for your own sake.

Being a plate does no good for you. End of story.
