Why should the man have to give the woman money? Her body her choice right? If she can just poke some guy and say I got knocked up, give me money... fuck that.

Personally, I think men should be able to forfeit away all rights and responsibilities within a certain time period, both before and after the actual birth. It should be inline with the timeframes laid out by Safe-haven laws. This would make it more equal and fair to the rights women have with respect of forfeiting a child.

As for the financial compensation for abortion topic, I think that it sounds like it makes sense. I do, however, have to think about what would they be paying for and what that would look like. If the woman gets an abortion, should he have to pay half? It would make sense to me. If she chooses not to abort but you signed away your rights and legal obligation, do you help with pregnancy cost, or does that fall on her because she chose to keep the child?

Financial abortion is a topic that comes up regularly on this sub. And it should be the norm. But if men don't pay for the child, who will? The mother? The government?

In the old days, before daddy government, women had to choose on a variety of factors, personality traits being one of them. She had to find a mate that wouldn't just run off AND had adequate genes.

Fast forward to today, and notice how many people in their 20s are at least 6' tall and have more appealing genetics?

Feminism has created a world where a woman can pick a father on physical traits alone and not have to worry about stability or what kind of person he is, because she knows the government will force him to pay up if she wants to keep the child. Indeed, she may not even like him very much, she just wants to make sure her offspring has good genes.

So, I would agree with you. If we want such an equal society, he should have the same rights to abort the child as she does. If she decides to keep the child even though she can't afford it, that is child abuse and she should be prosecuted for it.

Maybe if government stopped acting like a dad, real dad's would return.

The main thing is that biologically we can't change that women get pregnant and carry it to term. We can't change that men can only get women pregnant. I can't recall every single one but the females and males in other species reproduces the same.
If a woman gets pregnant planned or not it is both their fault. If a woman wants to keep it but end the relationship then he should have every right to 'leave' the both of them 100% and not be forced into baby jail.
Maybe if more women weren't so loose and kept their legs shut then this issue wouldn't be as bad. Maybe if more men weren't so eager to have sex with so many women(generally) this issue wouldn't be as bad. The 50% divorce rate is also to blame.
Sadly relationships end b/c of too many unplanned pregnancies. We could take a note from China (NO) and strictly regulate pregnancies. Set up a separate police system who would take the man and woman, put them in isolation, take the baby away at birth and they get NO compensation for it. Child is then adopted into a loving home with smart parents.
