If she had belief in her convictions then she would be happy that these young men are engaging with her in these conversations that she so wishes to have....... Of course, the real issue here is that she does not wish to actually have conversations, she wishes to spread rhetoric - an important distinction to make! I can't say I've ever encountered white supremacists in the men's rights movement and clear distinctions are made between incels, pick up artists etc. Men's rights activists typically vehemently distance themselves from these other groups, to the point where even she recognises it in her article while actively contradicting herself and trying to link the lot into one big group of hate lol. I, for one, am glad people are going in there prepared and making her work, even if she isn't! This should be the standard, she's the 'expert' and it should absolutely take more than her tale of an encounter on a bus to convince anyone that she has any sort of point! Her entire defence to any statistical rebuttals or fact based proof seems to be that 'they're wrong' - an argument that I doubt she'd accept if whoever her bus assaulter was turned up to deny her version of events. It's absurd Laura, basically the moral of the story here is to up your game or kindly fade away.

There's no shortage of misandry online, either, much of it far more depraved than this woman describes.

You can find quite a bit of it on this very site, in numerous subs, that hate men unabashedly.

These people also fail to realize that years of constant man-bashing is exactly why an equal and opposite reaction occurred.

I think its good those boys finally get more perspectives on the issues. Not necessarily the ones I would think are most valuable.

But filtering is a skill schools stopped teaching. So it's no wonder they aren't skilled. At least they don't believe feminists out of hand. That's useful in itself

The frustrating thing is how often the causes don't match the proposed solutions.

Every article like this cites loneliness, social isolation and lack of belonging as a cause, if not the primary cause. Extremists deliberately seek out vulnerable boys who feel unheard.

The proposed solutions? School courses and programs to teach boys to respect women. Talking to your sons about respecting girls. Monitor their online use. How are any of these things addressing the cause?

They shouldn't be complaining why I don't agree nor validate their wishful, made up, imagined propaganda. They shouldn't be complaining why I don't think nor act the way they think I would if I believed in their propaganda. They shouldn't be repeating their propaganda until I do what they want as if I'm supposed to do what they want me to do.

Also, I hate them because what they have done, not because what they are going to do. I don't care if they change. That doesn't make my anger any smaller at all. I want them rejected, punished, killed. They are complaining that they shouldn't be rejected and punished. They are whining so that they won't be rejected & punished. This makes me even more angry. They should be rejected, punished, killed. I hate them & accomplices.
