TIL that during WWI (and briefly WWII) the British would shame men into joining the military by recruiting young women to call them cowards on the streets of their hometowns. These women would also pin a white feather on them to symbolize their cowardice.
This was the first action of the feminist movement, to shame men who refused to throw themselves into a meat grinder for their imperialist masters. They also demanded equal voting rights, despite the requirement for those rights being military service.
Feminism always has been about female supremacy, be very suspicious of anyone who tells you otherwise.
