Ive always thought that 'daddy issues' aren't necessarily due to parental neglect. the child can have unreasonable expectations of parents that manifest and develop into a form of entitlement. Or they don't respond well to discipline, so they act out and seek to hurt the father.

I personally know a woman whose parents are nothing but good to her; rent free living, financial support, etc... but she still talks to them like garbage.

At some point, regardless of what happens, they need to take responsibility for their actions and work through their daddy issues.

it is a observation of the failure of single mothers households.It is reminder that fathers are important for children mental development.There are less rabid feminists in normal family unit.

The term "Daddy Issues" most commonly refers to someone that has coping issues because of a lack of a father figure when growing up.

Where as the term "Mommy Issues" most commonly refers to someone that suffered traumatic abuse from their mother when growing up.

One of these is purposeful and the other almost never is. I think this sub can figure out which is which.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again here. “Daddy issues” is the direct result of women buying this “sexual liberation” bs from feminism and going out and sleeping with men who were never going to be good fathers in the first place. When women get their choice they form harems around the 6 feet tall alpha males with abs and violent tendencies. Then they end up as single mothers. It’s almost like waiting until marriage or a committed long term relationship was actually a good idea.

I see men in pua and Redpill forums say they have the right to be a deadbeat dad because they don't choose pregnancies and can't get an abortion themselves and the government already steals their money. Some Men believe in being a deadbeat and find justifications. Even if married they are often deadbeats who don't pay or help their child. I've seen this with a few families.
