These differences are even larger in more egalitarian countries (Schmitt et al. 2008; Falk and Hermle 2008). Sex differences are even seen in all child stages of development. Girls are nurturant, warm, altruistic, submissive, tender minded, and open to feelings (Del Giudice 2015; Ellis et al. 2008 for more). Social learning theory should not expect larger sex differences in egalitarian countries. On the other hand, biological theories argue that gender roles arise due to genetics. Indeed, social learning theory & biology can exist due to rGE and its 3 correlates. If parents and society due encourage certain behaviors onto people based on their sex which lead to different gender roles, than this could be a correlate of rGE.
