Fair enough. I'm not attempting to shame people into being generous. I happen to live in a city/state that does not collect income taxes. The resulting problem is that I live in a city that has become very rich because the tech sector employees leave California to work from home here. I do not blame the employees...I get it. The problem is that over the past 20 years Seattle has attracted an enormous amount of wealth and it does not help the people born here. And now that you have 10(Cisco, Amazon, Microsoft, ect.) or so billion dollar businesses headquartered here...Lack of money is no excuse. This community had affordable housing 20+ years ago before these companies and local zoning laws helped to create a housing crisis.

Not a feminist and I think all humans, everywhere, deserve housing and healthcare. It should be a given.
