Ok, I’m a woman and I see the lack of affordable housing as an all people problem. In fact, I think I think men have it way more difficult. When you look at ads for roommates, many say “female only.” Which is fine in the sense that you have the right to choose roommates you feel comfortable with, but for a guy looking for a room, it just seems like there are less opportunities.

A lot of the comments there also talk about lack of affordable childcare. Again, also an all people problem.

I don’t know if I’m weird, I just don’t see the point in saying affordable housing is a feminist issue? Are they indicating the problem will be solved more quickly if the solution primarily helps women?

I'd argue that it is more of a man's issue as council homes in the UK are prioritised for women and DV shelters in the UK are primarily for women.

If "feminism" means "reducing harm caused by gender-based bigotry" then IMHO it still fits. This seems like one that's not a men-vs-women issue, and just an issue.

No, housing is not a human right, this is dangerous thinking, this is like claiming healthcare is a human right, you do not have the right to somebody else's property and services. This is what feminists are proposing and whoever wrote this is disguising their language very carefully.

Affordable housing is not a human right. I live in the midwestern US and pay less than $800 for a two-bedroom apartment in a nice part of town. If you want to live in a trendy coastal city, you have to pay for it.
