De-identified data is essential to protect the privacy of all cases, patients, and the providers. Socio-economic data on job loss by gender is an area for the State to understand fully, since women and people of color tend to be the first laid off in economic recessions due to several important labor/industry factors.

So they want data on what they think will benefit them (counting the noses of wah-myn and how beautifully they suffer), but for no other data to be collected (personal habits of said people that are more likely to effect their health).

3, Support women+’s economic independence, the redistribution of unpaid care work and the circular economy, ensuring jobs programs for women+ and public provision of childcare and programs, such as paid family leave that support more equitable distribution of childcare and recognized, paid work. This includes job opportunities for women under expanded Department of Health monitoring program and contact tracing program, and other issues as outlined above.

This has been posted a few days ago already, and the article is rather lite on the full extent of the pro-female/anti-male sexism being proposed.

But I found this disturbing...

Leaders in Hawaii aren’t the only people reimagining the economy. California Gov. Gavin Newsom also is thinking about this. When asked if he sees COVID-19 as providing an opportunity for a move toward a “new progressive era,” Newsom said, “There is opportunity for reimagining a progressive era as it pertains to capitalism. … So yes, absolutely we see this as an opportunity to reshape the way we do business and how we govern.”

EDIT: OK, given that this article is by Karen A. Lipps (apparently there are indeed women named Karen Lipps), I decided an authenticity check was in order. My results?

Socialism has failed every time it's been implemented, so they are going to try it again.

Oh, and that article mentions that they want to raise the minimum wage for single mothers to almost $25/hour. If you raise the minimum wage for single mothers to over twice the state's normal minimum wage, you just make single mothers unemployable.
