In case anyone didn't know, the current mods of /r/AskMen are going around calling their users "incel fucks", blaming "MGTOW" for people disliking the shit they're doing, and permabanning users for no reason. This is all related to their new policy of instantly banning anyone who points out to female users that the name of the subreddit is /AskMen.

They are parroting the very worst anti-male propaganda under the guise of stopping men from telling women on that subreddit that the subreddit exists to present the male perspective on things. Simply put: it is a subreddit for men to answer questions and voice their opinions. If a user's opinion is that men should be answering the questions, not women, then that is a perfectly valid opinion to have. It is not insulting or abusive to say that. But it is now an opinion which will get you permabanned from that sub instantly.

Feminists shut men out of their subs all the time. TwoX, AskWomen, any of those will shut you down or ban you if you're a man. But on a male-dominated subreddit, you are not even allowed to say that men should take priority.

No one is suggesting women should be banned outright from all discussion on that sub. But even saying that men should be answering the questions instead of women will get you permabanned from the sub. Which is utterly and completely unacceptable for a supposedly male-oriented subreddit.

It has become another sub where men's opinions are censored and diminished for the sake of not upsetting women. We cannot have our spaces defined by women. We cannot allow women's feelings to determine what we are allowed to say or talk about. To that end, we need to figure out another way for men to actually express themselves on this site. Otherwise, /AskMen is going to keep going the way of /MensLib, and pretty soon there'll be no spaces left for men to actually voice their opinions.
