I’ll be honest, what’s the problem here?

From what I gather it’s very similar to the bullshit fathers hear everywhere. When a mother/woman is taking care of their child, it’s called parenting. When a father/man is taking care of their child, it’s called babysitting.
Myself and all the men I know of in a family setting do their share of chores around the house just as the women in their lives do. It’s just called adulting and looking after yourself and your home.
The statement in the picture linked is challenging the implied narrative that men aren’t active in housekeeping, or barely take part in it, or when they do it’s just helping their wife as she is the one with all the burden and it’s not a responsibility shared by the man.
The (likely) feminist commenter below doesn’t realise what is going on, and misses the point entirely.
That’s my two cents, could be wrong.

It's an issue of control. They place arbitrary expectations on men to do things their way and on their schedule. And then act like men are lazy when they don't meet those expectations.
Those expectations are just thinly disguised orders. And their behaviors, which can often border on abuse, stem from a desire to exert power and control around the house.

Ahhh I see. Cheers!

Time for a flip!
A woman who contributes money towards the household income isn't helping her husband, she is simply paying bills in her house.
Except I don't view it this way. I'm openly thankful for any contribution she makes, and she is thankful for what I do around the house. We recognize one another's efforts in the household. We show appreciation for each other's efforts rather than have expectations.
My family doesn't agree with the concept of someone spending half a day cleaning a house without a word of recognition, nor do we see working extended hours to pay the bills as just something that needs to be done.

Both of those statements are true. But I'm guessing based on the flip test she didn't understand what the first comment was about.

I... don't see the problem here. Both of these statements are true. Doing chores around the house is just doing chores around the house, no matter the gender.

Equal is as equal does, wonder if she liked the taste of equality after that response.

There goes the "unpaid labour" crap.

Oh hell yes, by their own words they destroy the argument they make.

Tit-for-tat trivia is not an issue for this sub, IMHO.

What an idiot.

Where I come from, "doing chores" is something children do in exchange for an "allowance". When it's an adult taking care of business that needs to be done, it's called being a fuckin adult. And it's not "unpaid labor" either, you mouthbreathing feminist retards. It's shit that needs to be done, unless you are a filthy pig, and want to live in a pigsty.

I was married for a few years before I realized I like men more than women. Whenever I cleaned around the house my wife would thank me. I know she didn’t mean anything bad by it but it irked me every time she said it.
