Former community worker and volunteer here. This statistic is so on the rise it’s not even funny. It’s like women literally said: Well, now that we are empowered...time to start raping boys!

Yes men had more “power” in bygone eras. But we heard “with great power comes great responsibility” our whole lives. (Most of us anyway) While women heard: Take those SOBs for everything they have, it’s your right to!

Nothing can convince me that women don’t have a Pavlovian response to “take advantage of men at all costs” in 2020. Why do I think that? Because I watched this society condition BOTH genders into this reality. Reinforcing it in schools, summer camps, after school activities and home environments to name just the big ones. Perpetuated by man hating women we call “Karen’s” today. Who were and probably still are touted for their bravery!

I used to say an apology is long over due. But at this point it’s too late. We have to let a whole generation pass there has been so much damage. Our lives literally aren’t long enough for total reconciliation. It would just be laughed at now by men anyway. Doubling down on the social death spiral of “I don’t care more than you do.”

The best thing men and women 30 plus can do is to A. totally leave the younger generation alone. Just STFU and nod. Only help them on their way to true equality. And B. for us to just fight, fuck and do our usual of imagining new ways to hurt each other in private or out of eye sight of the younger generation until we die.

You can even still pretend you’re too cool to participate in it. Either way stop god damn marrying each other because you’re terrible at it! AND you were sold a bastardization of “marriage” in the first place.

Millennials never had a shot at “changing the world” like we thought we were going to and that’s a tough pill to swallow. But we could do this. It will be hard but we could.
