Honestly there are good women out there who’d make good legislators or presidents or whatever but I think they’re smart enough to realize it’s an awful job and full of asshats and dumbasses.

Blaming the patriarchy is pretty dumb. As far as I see and know there is no institutional sexism against women running for office.

I had a friend in Facebook that claimed it was misogyny and the media not covering her because she's a smart woman.

I asked how misogyny plays when more than half her party are women and reminded her of her glowing media coverage, magazine covers etc.

Silence. I added she's smart but she's unlikable. More than one liberal woman told me Warren reminded them of the bitchy college professor that takes attendance dkd takes off points for missing.

It’s hard to take this seriously when the last Democrat nominee was a woman...who won the popular vote in the general election!

I don’t remember Sarah Palin getting much credit from Democrats because she was a woman either. Pretty sure she got mocked pretty relentlessly. She said/did some dumb stuff, but at least she didn’t lie about her heritage and about her job history and constantly try to play a victim just because she’s a woman.
