Why are you coming here complaining about complaining? We’re just looking to have our rights as fathers and humans recognized. I’m pretty sure that there isn’t much complaining going on in here.

British MP Jess Phillips laughed when another MP Philip Davies spoke about issues experienced by men, including suicide.

Clementine Ford makes a living from publishing hate speech aimed at men (#KILLALLMEN).

If you have any examples of women and women's issues being silence, ridiculed and hated on and by mainstream media and prominent politicians, please show us.

OK OP, if it bothers you to generalize how about just using specifics. Do you think that, as a matter of course, with all things being equal, women are treated better in a court of law?

Once you are able to reach a conclusion there then you can apply the same criteria in other situations.

I completely agree. I am sick of getting told 'you are a man, so you have all the privileges, rule the world and have no right because you have allready all the rights and all the power". (Do I even want that kind of power? Would it still be a privilege? Does it change to a disadvantage if it is not only easier to get power but also expected to have power?)

I acknowlege that I can't really understand the 'shit' women (or even other men) have to go though.

We have to be aware to separate individual 'shit' and systemic 'shit'.

It's so seductive to say the grass is greener on the other side. 😳

Correct, nobody has it easy. Life is tough and it always has been.

No gender has ever really had the upper hand in life. Before the advent of modern medicine women would die more frequently in childbirth for example, therefore allowing them the safety of the home while men worked dangerous jobs to provide meant that their combined goals of survival and creating a legacy (that is you and I, and everyone alive today) could succeed.

It wasn't until recently that issues facing genders were addressed, some more slowly than others, as is made evident by today's media and social channels. There is a long way to go before anything resembling equality is achieved.
