Being a men's rights advocate does not necessarily equate to the opposition of women's rights although some do choose to take that path.

I just talked with my girlfriend when I found about Men's Rights and she totally understands and supports the idea. She also starts noticing patterns in the real world that show how women have it much easier in some aspects of life. The last thing she noticed was how many of her female friends from school have became "influencers" that travel the world and post on social media, but have no job that can support such behavior.

Anyway, back to the question. I believe you should not be afraid to speak with your partner about Men's Rights. In fact your partner is usually your closest person and you should be able to speak about any topic with them. And if you can't do that maybe your partner is not the right person for you :)

You don't owe anyone an explanation. I'm married. My wife seeths with me at the injustice that's going on. She's as incredulous as I am that first world nations seem to not jail women for anything at all.

Find a woman that isn't blind. And you don't have to explain anything.

Just calmly explain that’s men’s rights isn’t about hurting women. It’s about evening the field; ie women can have abortions and men can both have abortions.

I'm not a man so I apologize, but I hope this helps regardless.

Do yourself a favor and calmly explain your position early on with studies, statistics, and some real life examples. Explain why it means so much to you. Try to do this in a way that does not sound preachy and do not act defensive. Then, let them respond with their own thoughts. Before this conversation, you can bring up some current examples of men's issues (i.e. "Did you hear about that case in the news today...? What do you think about that?) and get a feel of them.

If the person you're dating is against your ideals, you've saved yourself time, emotional stress, and possibly money by knowing before getting in too deep. I do NOT recommend keeping it to yourself as it can cause problems later that could be easily avoided. Especially while dating women, you need to root out the ones that are not empathetic to men's issues. Those are likely the women that will end up doing things to hurt you, whether big or small, and have little remorse afterwards. Remember that each woman you have sex with has the potential to be the mother of your child, whether you're on board or not, so you need to vet them early on to know what you're dealing with. As a woman... there are more of us than you know who support or at least have no problem with men’s rights. Personally, I don’t get why women get hysterical over it given that most men have no interest in taking women’s rights away, they just want fair treatment in society, courts, the media etc. Be reasonable when explaining, use facts, make sure she’s aware you’re not advocating for women being barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen... and if she responds with emotion and ranting then nope right out of there, she’s not right for you anyway.

I don’t get why you think you have to explain yourself. It’s something that’s important to you and that you believe in. That’s all that matters. She really doesn’t need to support you on this. It would be good if she does but her approval isn’t required. Men’s rights are human rights not a taboo. It’s almost more like you’re ashamed.

I know there are already people who are saying you're under no obligation to explain to anyone and yes this is true but I refer people back to how I think men need to socially cull people out of their life who are hostile to them. Women have their own little shit tests when it comes to finding out if a guy is worthwhile this can be men's.

If you bring up being an MRA or men's issues and the girl you're trying to date freaks out and starts berating you then yes it sucks but at the same time you most likely dodged a bullet same deal if you bring up Trump or I suppose even Bernie Sanders at this point given how intolerant feminists are.

You don't need to 100% agree on everything, a girlfriend who can rationally disagree with you on issues without being an absolute spaz about it will be great as well as long as she doesn't hold extreme opinions. If you encounter the types that will almost attack you over this though, honestly, if they snap that easily get the fuck out of there, that's the sign of a domestic abuser in my opinion.

We've all heard the audio tapes of Amber Heard and the like these are the signs to watch out for the greatest red flag is if I ever meet a woman and she has an entitled attitude and thinks she deserves things purely because she has a vagina. If she actually believes that sort of shit seriously, just walk away, deal with the loss and search for somebody else.

I would rather have a girl potentially try and smash a drink over my head for saying I don't think Trump is as bad as people make him out to be or that I think that female domestic abusers and female paedophiles should go to jail . Than realise several years into a relationship and with a potential kid on the way that I've ended up in a relationship with a psycho.

As utterly insane as that might sound especially to other women that's the level of risk that guys are dealing with when they try and date a girl sometimes and the long term damage being in a relationship can do to a man is far worse than anything short term they can do if they're just a stranger.
