I once heard that men in general have a much more difficult time getting over an end to a relationship. Does anyone have any stats to back that up?

I can definitely tell you that it has been a year and a half since my breakup from a relationship that lasted a little over a year and I still miss my ex even though the reason she left is still a mystery to me because she never told me why. That said, I would not be surprised if this is true.

EDIT: I forgot to mention, she DID say that she felt like God told her to leave and that the reason for the breakup was not my fault. I don’t even know what to think about that.
