What gets me the most is im a alienated father who hasnt seen his kid in over 12 yrs. They complain all year long how they havent even met their nieice or grandchild. But turn around and pull this bs. I called them all out on it. I dont glorify toxic behavior from either gender.

Tbh i dont think its hate for children. Its hate for eachother. Same with my situation as a alienated father. I made sure along with our mom and dad that all the kids got a nice xmas. But their thought process is why alienation is a huge existing problem and has been for decades

The title of your post does not say enough about its subject. This forces people to click and read before they can decide whether they are interested. It also makes searching impossible.

If everyone did this, the subreddit would become unusable. Moreover, it means that your post will fail to reach some readers because they won't know what it's about.

So please don't do it in future. Take the time to describe your link, and save the time of hundreds of other people.

When making a title, it's best to assume the reader doesn't know what you're talking about - but don't go overboard with every detail. Then check if there are any words you can cut out without losing any important information.

This is just favoritism by the family. If your family was the father's side and it was your brother instead of sister the narrative would be the same.

While sexism is definitely a factor, I think the main thing is that the guy isn't part of the family, and she is.
