I can tell you from experience (not proud to say) that my oldest son (who doesnt live with me full time) is much more effeminate than my youngest (who does live with me) and its staggering to see the difference. One has a full time Male role model presence and the other does not. The youngest is much more grounded, whereas the oldest needs validation so much more, and also requires so much more parenting. Ie what to do and what not to do. Its astounding, and also heart breaking. I love both of my boys, but it's so frustrating to undo what has been done to the non-full time child. Hes been babied and feminized to the extreme. Theres only 2 years between the boys, but it almost feels like 5 years of maturity difference. Even though they are both over 5.

I worked with these people some 20 years ago on other topics. Most research overviews come to the same conclusion that fatherless homes are hurting our children and their mental health. I have experienced this myself where my youngest daughter sent an email crying for help and wanted to meet/live with me. Two years have passed and I have been trying to clear this mess of a legal system to be able to take care of her, but the response is really a twisted joke if it was not for the pain it inflicts on my children. It would interest me to know if there is a difference in outcome for kids with fathers who left of their own accord, and those whose fathers were alienated as a result of divorce 'proceedings'.
