I've first noticed this when grand theft auto 3 came out. It's a game where you can kill pretty much everyone, with the exception of a small number of plot important characters. All the people the game requires you to kill are male. Killing females is purely optional. But the game is accused of promoting violence against women.

Exactly. In the first place, evil female characters are rare, especially compared with how many female heroines there are

In the second place, even when there is an evil female character

she often ends up turning to the good side
she's evil but depicted in a glamorized way, like a desirable femme fatale (she'll likely be a Karma Houdini, because the audience is supposed to like her)
she's "evil", but she's given a Freudian excuse because she has some troubled backstory
she really is evil and unlikable, but it's still only the female heroine who fights her. The good woman beats up the bad woman, the good woman beats up the bad man, the good man beats up the bad man, but the good man doesn't beat up the bad woman

This isn't always the case, but it's definitely a theme. And the disposable male trope is so common that it's expected. Usually only it's absence is remarked upon, and that's when people complain about the "violence against women" in a particular film

Same in thrillers or horror films where a group of people . You can always predict that out the group it will be a female that’s the one who survives . The males always come to a sticky end . It’s so boring and predictable nowadays when women are whining about equality etc

I believe the Deadpool movie (first one) makes a joke about this, where Deadpool says "Is it sexist to kill you, is it more sexist to not kill you?" or something along the lines of that.
