There are 33% more women than men who graduate with a bachelor's degree, but 2019 will likely be the first year in which they are a majority of the college-educated labor force. Nobody cares about the men who didn't go to college so extra women can go to college and then choose not to work

Many of them are graduating with degrees that 1. don't qualify them for anything useful or well-paid and 2. make them think that they are too good for work that doesn't require a degree. Thus they are wasting several years, running up debts and making themselves unemployable.

I'm opposed to forgiving student loans for this reason. If you go to school then you got something and the debt you ran up is yours, not mine.

But everybody cares about the extra women who went to university and got their sociology, psychology, or women’s studies degrees and are now $50k in debt (or more).

The Democratic candidates are talking about student loan forgiveness... or rather, making the men working without degrees pay off the loans of women are are not working with the degrees they “earned”.
