Judge limits a woman's access to her kids to supervised visits after she made false child abuse claims against her ex-husband to try & have him improperly arrested for the 7th time. So naturally, she files to have child support payments increased to $3000 per month (on top of $7000 in alimony).

‘They opened champagne bottles and chanted “Am Yisrael Chai” (the people of Israel lives) as well as “the Brit is a whore.”’ 😆

I really hope they have the guts and the means to go through with this.

Why are the names of the innocent victims public?!?

I understand protecting the apparent victimizer's name because she deserves due process, but unless the victims (and the families of the underage ones) chose to release their names, how and why are their names public.

If they participated in sexual acts, is she being charged with statutory rape?

Not as of yet, though you raise a good point. The age of consent in Cyprus is 17, and there is no closeness in age exception, so she ought to be charged with that particular offense as well.

Exactly my thoughts.... she was 19 and the youngest was 15 from what I read. I thought that was maybe why she called it rape in the first place. Meanwhile newspapers made it sound like Israeli men raped a British teenager.... Pretty gross of her IMO. If that happened in America I don’t think things would have gone so well for her, totally minors here!

Exactly the same penalty as rape conviction for the false rape accusations!

LATEST UPDATE: The false accuser/statutory rapist's arraignment has been moved to August 7 at the request of the defendant's attorney, though she will remain in police custody until then because she is considered a flight risk. So far there is no indication that they intend to charge her with statutory rape, despite her having implicitly confessed to the act, and there being video of it.

It's a sign of how powerful crazy women following the feminist misandrist script are that only a group of Jews are rich enough and determined enough to take them on.

[+]gprime1 points 6 years ago* [recovered] (5 children) | Copy Link

That's...an odd take. First, I'm not sure that any of these Israelis are rich, certainly not independent of their parents given that some of them are as young as 15. Second, they are far from alone in holding their false accusers to account. Geoffrey Rush is Jewish (and, in fact, his false accuser was) and he sued over a #MeToo libel and won $2M, though his lawsuit was against a paper that ran the accusations rather than the less well off actress herself. And though he failed, the German student at Columbia sued Mattress Girl.

I genuinely don't mean it in anything other than an admiring and positive way. In my experience jewish people are smart, creative, determined, indefatigable and very justice-minded. God knows they've had to be to survive.

Mind you, still a mystery to me how they've not seen that circumcision is a load of nonsense.

Which is why I said it was "odd" rather than anti-semitic. I know it relied on a stereotype of Jewish wealth, but it didn't seem to come from a bad place. I'm Jewish, and I didn't take offense to it.

Mind you, still a mystery to me how they've not seen that circumcision is a load of nonsense.

There are some of us opposed to it, and as a former ultra-orthodox Jew, I would even argue that there is a religiously-defensible solution to end the practice in the orthodox and ultra-orthodox communities. Maybe the biggest anti-circ activist in the US, Eric Clopper, is Jewish. But you are right that it is still a disconcertingly common practice. When I was born my parents were only nominally religious, and they still had me cut, which I'd certainly never have agreed to if could've made the choice. I don't know a single Jewish friend who escaped it, regardless of level of observance of their parents at birth.

I think many Irish like myself feel an enormous sense of kinship with Israel, as they also fought the British for independence and a state (although I'm quite fold on the British too for taking-on Hitler and generally being quite a funny and creative lot).

I just generally think Irish women - really the younger ones - can be the most outrageous bitches. British young women are almost as bad. They're swalling feminism right at a young age, and they're used to treating men like shit and so when they come across some Israeli men is must be a real jolt to meet men who are military-trained and won't take their nonsense.

It's interesting you should say this, because the perception in Israel and among the Jewish diaspora is that the Irish are hostile to us and overwhelmingly pro-Palestinian, while the Northern Irish are our friends, as evidenced by the common sight of Israeli flags at unionist events and locations.

and so when they come across some Israeli men is must be a real jolt to meet men who are military-trained and won't take their nonsense.

You'd be surprised. I think Israeli men, not least because of the mandatory military service, are more conventionally masculine than most, and feminism hasn't quite been allowed to poison Israel as much as it has many other developed nations. But Israeli men put up with a ton of shit from Israeli women. It's just the young Israelis abroad, generally after completing military service, who realize these foreign women represent a casual sex opportunity, who forego pandering to women while they sow their oats. Upon returning home though, most wind up just as whipped as anywhere else.

Really interesting conversation this. Loads of reporters come here and take photos of a street in Derry/Londonderry where their are Israeli and Palestinian flags on either side, but what they don't tell you is it's the only street in Ireland where you can see that. It's because there's a famous jockey from the Protestant side who rides for the AlMaktom family's stable of racehorses (they run Dubai and the UAE) so it's more of a neighbourhood shit-posting thing.

More broadly, the British royal family and establishment are seen as being a bit suspiciously close to Saudi Arabia and UAE royalty because of oil. The British royals are always visiting Arab countries and hanging with their royal families - whereas, of course, Israel doesn't have a royal family. It's interesting for instance that the Queen has never visited Israel despite visiting nearly everywhere else.

So as I say, especially in the Republic, there's a bit of an affinity there because the Irish kicked the British out and so did the Israelis.

I wouldn't want this to come across as anti-British though as they're generally pretty good people in my experience. It's just that this stuff really isn't talked about openly and that's why Brexit came as such a shock to the establishment.
