I work at a county government office. Here are the rules;

Men: - Long or Short Sleeves Dress Shirt

  • Dress Pants

  • Dress Shoes

Women: - Long-sleeve, short-sleeve, or sleeve-less top. Doesn't need to be formal as long as it isn't overly casual.

  • Cleavage is okay. No backless or bare midriff

  • Formal or smart casual pants or capris (as long as it covers the knee). Some women also occasionally wore shorts despite it being technically forbidden.

  • Formal or smart causal skirt, hemline capped at mid-thigh

  • Most shoes are okay except runners and flip-flops.

On Casual Fridays

Men:

  • Long or Short-sleeve shirt.

  • Pants (no shorts, capris, or sweat pants)

  • All shoe types allowed except flip flops

Women: - Long-sleeve, short-sleeve, or sleeve-less top. Cleavage is okay. No backless or bare midriff

  • Pants, Capris, Jeans, Shorts, Yoga Pants are all okay. Only rule is that skirt / pants must be below mid-thigh

  • All shoe types except flip flops are okay
