A 13-year-old is a teenager and also a young child. The two are not mutually exclusive. "Teenager" is not monolithic, there's a big difference between 13 and 19, even though they're both technically "teenagers"

It is shocking to me how others are so quick to judge after hearing accusations and only one side of the story.

This would be a good point if she were falsely accused. But it's known for a fact that she did it, so deserves every bit of hatred and judgment she gets. In fact more than she's getting, considering how many are defending her in the comments there on the basis of "she's hot"

She should have gotten the 44 years, she won't even be middle aged by the time she's out

One has to wonder how this would have turned out if a man were to do the same? I'm betting he wouldn't get the lowest possible sentence.
