Genital mutilation of newborns is barbaric, the psychological trauma and bodily damage to the child is comparable to child rape, yet it's being ritualistically being done to hundreds of thousand newborns every year.

If it legitimately is for religious purposes, let the child decide for itself when it is old enough to make a solemn vow to God, that should be a part of the religious freedom of the child as well. If a cult started up doing this today it would rightfully be called brainwashing.

My new argument with people like this stems around "When you learn to have compassion for other people, you teach them to have compassion for you. People aren't going to support you if you don't support them. Do you feel alone right now? Do you feel like your issue isn't being given the concern that you feel for it? Well, consider what changes you can make in your own behaviour that will encourage others to take your issues more seriously in the future."

I also really hate how they are all assuming it's just men who want abortion bans. The person who made the final say and signed the bill in Alabama? A woman. Women were protesting for the ban as well. Women are all over social media cheering for Alabama as we speak.

as much as i hate removing normal non harming body parts without consent and forcing someone to stay pregnant i feel like these 2 issues should not be compared

Lol...i wish my 18th birthday involved a vasectomy...guess they dont give those in juvenile detention bahaha. NO worries...i got out shortly after my bday but still.
