In my quest to research as much as I can on the circumcision issue, I've discovered that there is a suspicious lack of studies on the neurological effects of circumcision.

The closest thing I could find is the story about a doctor who did an MRI scan on a baby before and after circumcision. He found that there was significant trauma to the amygdala and the frontal and temporal lobes. However, this is not reliable information as apparently the study was ordered to be destroyed, and the study was done on only one baby.

Why are there no studies on the neurological effects of circumcision? Is it because MRIs are expensive? Do you think there are certain groups who are blocking this vital research? How can we change this? Do I need to become a researcher in order to make this research happen, or can I reach out to researchers myself?
