I was raped by a woman. I have done a lot of research on the topic and apart from the fact that women cannot be charged with rape in the UK(which the vast majority of you know) here is what I have learned.

There is an equivelant law brought in in 1996 that female rapists can be charged under with the same sentencing guidelines, it is called causing sexual activity without consent. The problem is women that rape men are never charged under this law and are instead charged with sexual assault with a typical sentence of a year. I have had this confirmed by two ISVA's.
