try posting the exact smae thing but change the male pronouns to female and see how long it lasts before there is an outcry and feminist forums all over the internet are posting about it using it as an example of "why feminism is needed"

I'm tempted, and I might. I'm not banned in the feminist subreddits yet

Only a matter of time.............

I think that’s pretty funny tbh, it’d be funny the other way around too.

I wish people would stop posting obvious jokes. Is "straight to the moon alice" or "women deserve equal rights, and lefts" normalising domestic violence against women? or are they jokes? If your objective is to make MRA's look as humourless as feminists then this post is doing it's job.

Completely understand, and I do believe people are allowed to make jokes. I did laugh at first I'm gonna be honest, but I do I find this joke less funny than the ones you mentioned because the issue of male domestic abuse is a lot more unaddressed or even unknown. I know a lot of women who seriously think it's okay to hit a guy, but have never met a man who's thought the same about hitting women.

I agree with everything you said so why post it? it makes us look hypocritical and pathetic. There is a double standard too, despite the reality you clearly outlined it is fine to make this kind of joke but not the reverse. If you had posted someone against DV jokes making a joke like this then you would have a point.

Yes maybe my title is probably a bit incorrect then. It's not a problem with the joke it's with the double standard that people don't address when it favours women. I would rather there be no issue with making either joke, or any joke. I have had plenty of people talk to me for saying jokes are okay and they always bring up rape culture and rape jokes, that any rape joke normalizes rape, which I don't necessarily believe to be true. Just like murder jokes don't make murder any more likely or that this joke makes it more likely for a woman to hit a man. I Will be opening up discussions with those individuals with this image to see how they feel.

Rape, murder, stealing etc. are all issues that are being addressed. Male victim domestic abuse is not really being addressed by the mainstream, so jokes like this might be harmful to getting it seriously addressed. That's why I put the title I did

I don't think the jokes themselves make any difference. I think the underlying reasons for the double standard is the major problem(feminism and gynocentrism) plus a lack of empathy for men.
