I'm failing to see the problem.

If they want to get into the SAS, they have to know that they might end up captured and interrogated, and those interrogators aren't going to ask nicely, or play by rules, or care about what feelings get hurt, or what egos get punctured. The training interrogators are supposed to do whatever they feel they can do to get under their skin. Clearly, this was a hot button that actually worked on specific recruits, which means they really shouldn't be upset with anyone but themselves.

Even knowing, in advance, what they were signing up for, they still fell for this? Guess they weren't SAS material, then.

I agree from a fairness standpoint it's bad but at the same time if a soldier can't handle being mocked during a mock interrogation how will they cope with a real one ? PC culture has zero place in the armed forces.

This is PC culture run amuck. They're SAS for christ's sake! Everyone should be derided, but if they're going to ban sexual comments, at least they're being equal about it (now that someone has complained).

Isn't that sexual harassment? They wouldn't do that to their prisoners or to the inmates (at least the female inmates and prisoners). Why not pull out their fingernails, electrocute them,, etc.? Will they have male "interrogators" grope female recruits to prepare them in case they are captured? Somehow I doubt it. They only believe this as acceptable because it's done to men.

The soldiers sign up for this and are paid for it they are not forced to do it.

If you go to a strip club a woman is naked gyrating in front of you, very intimately, many people humiliate the strippers! She does not care she is paid for it. It is similar here really. The soldiers are paid for it!

Now women can join the SAS it will be interesting if the men will be brought in to humiliate the naked women.

Male SAS are not allowed to make fun of the females bodies like the women do to men. If they want to allow it both ways then fine. Otherwise, it needs to stop!
