The laws are state-based of course. I found this summary:

On my reading it looks like Western Australia is the only state where legally women cannot rape men. The other states all seem to define the relevant crime in a way that would cover women raping men.

Take a look and see if you agree. I've only had time to skim through it, I may have missed something.

The main charge would be Sexual Assault

Then

Only men can be changed with rape

But the law does make a small concession here.

women can be charged with the lesser crime of “made to penetrate” Both sexes can be charged with this if items other then genitalia are involved

At least as far as I can remember after talking to more then a few lawyers while fighting false charge

But he can't say I raped him unless I penetrated him.

Neither of you can say you raped him because in some places men cannot be raped as per legal terms, only sexually assaulted.

First of all - thank you for having the courage to get up in front of a group of your peers and speaking your mind. Universities are increasingly becoming less open and more secular, and no longer require critical thinking but of following the dogma. So thank you for standing and asking these questions. And because you did this, you are likely offering some additional information which has been likely deliberately obscured from your fellow students and offer them the chance to think critically about this issue. It's likely they've never considered it in the terms that you have put forward. Reminding people of the double standard and continuing to push against the feminist narrative that all men are rapists during drunken hook ups will likely make you a pariah, but hopefully, as time passes, this will be less so. Keep thinking critically and question that which you've been taught - this is University and you have the right and you should certainly be encouraged to engage and question the teachings.

Then let me tell you this:

In the Netherlands they are going to implement a law that allow a women to file a rape report if within 6 months after consensual sex she start regretting it. This is even if you have a legal paper where both of you agree to have sex. It’s still rape if a women regret it.

If a man takes his condom off, it’s rape. When the women does it, it’s also rape, and again it’s the man who is the rapist. Both cases man at fault. If a women makes holes in a condom and get pregnant, it’s rape (again man is the rapist), and must pay alimony.

Let’s take it further. Woman rapes a man and get pregnant. Man cannot do anything to cancel the pregnancy, has to live his whole life with the fact that his kid is a rape product, 18 years of money to pay, 21 years of legal responsibility (kid destroys something? You have to pay for it), and on top of all of that, you can be charged as a rapist. Oh, and if she don’t want you to see your kid, you are doomed.

I would encourage all of you to read the following book by Dr Warren Farrell, It is about equality for all and not just a select group. It also talks about something Dr Farrell calls The Lace Curtain. There is a proper way to think when it comes to feminism and if you start asking hard questions you are shut out of the discussion. I truly hope the new generation coming through colleges and Universities come together and fight for equal rights whether you are Male, Female, White, Black, Asian, Arab, Hispanic, Gay, Straight, Trans.

To play the devils advocate.

They say that rape is not about sex, but about power.

Women commonly gain the attention of men, just to have the opportunity to talk down to them. It is a feminine power to command the respect of men, and treat them like servants.

When a man violates a women's right to consent, he takes away her power to taunt and antagonize men, with out consequences. I've seen it many times, where a women describing her experience, will say, "I feel like I lost my power," or I want my power back."

Further, when a women looses her wholesome innocent reputation, she looses her greatest weapon to defend herself in the aftermath of rape. Its common in rape trials, for a womans reputation to smeared across the court. Make her look loose, and often willing.

Then from the other perspective. Because of "American Pie Culture," men are not considered men, until we have sex. And the more sex, the more manly we appear. The more sex we have, the more it raises our status.

When a one--time couple wakes up in the mourning, both regretting the night before, it is the women that has lost the most. While their are dangers, and negative fall out for the man, the women faces all those and more.

I offer the above as food for thought, not that that is my conclusion.
