I am in college and studying for a J.D/Ph.D program I consider that my second job - but I always feel people judge me or assume I don't have any money because of it.

I don't want to attract gold diggers which is probably a good thing but I also don't want to let people in on some private aspects of my life. I have a living trust that's ~500k and I have a full scholarship to college. I actually get a stipend for going to school as well but that's a little more complicated to explain.

I have worked in the past but it was usually just during the summer- I am awfully insecure that girls hear I don't have a job and assume I'm broke I used to drive a pimped out BMW 7 series so everyone just assumed I was a drug dealer which I guess is a job. Now I have a hyundai- I'm trying to convince my dad to get me a Mercedes but I doubt that conversation will go well.

What should I do to get rid of this insecurity I have.

Edit: these responses are pathetic this is suppose to be constructive and instead everyone critiques me for coming from money and having and I am supposed to be sorry my dad loves me? I'm am successful for my age and my future is going to be even more so. Offer constructive advice or piss off. Law school costs ~300k and my Ph.D is more or less free but there's still invisible expenses.

What is wrong with being born with money my parents raised me to respect the janitor as much as the ceo - I donate money to charity. I'm not a douche flaunting my money and yes it is my money as my last name gave me certain privileges (stock/property holdings mainly) in life. Stop the hate.
