A woman “thought” a man took a picture of her and she called the police. And they actually came to investigate... I guess men can’t be on their phones without being falsely accused.

I own an Android phone with a rooted rom that allows flashlight to be used as notification indicator. I set it up only for wake-up alarm.

Yesterday morning I was standing and looking at my phone in the subway and the alarm went off. I realized I snoozed it instead of dismissing it as I woke up. I turned it off immediately.

Then I saw a girl with a disgusted face staring in front of me. Fuck.

She thought I was taking pictures of her and called for help, everyone thought I'm a sick pervert, and called the metro cops at the next station.

I explained to the cops and showed how my phone's notification works, and they let me go. But the girl didn't buy it at all. I apologized anyways but she left as she gave another disgusted face at me without a word.

Some of the people at the scene are commuters whom I regularly see every morning. Now I'm thinking that I'm gonna be marked as a creep forever. And even if I do find each of them and explain, I might look like I'm desperately making excuses. I'm fucked both ways. Fuck.
