From what I've read they want lenient treatment for lower prison sentences? (As in getting rid of prison sentences for crimes under a certain threshold). So given women already get lower sentences for the same crime a man would get far more.. Including assaults, murder, and especially sexual crimes. They're already privileged in this respect. This puts even more under the threshold, which means women will pretty much become above the law. They'd be practically invulnerable to consequences for all but the most heinous crimes.. And even those tend to be twisted to be a man's fault somehow.

Her argument is bullshit. Male recidivism rates are higher. But not that much higher. Not enough to justify a 60% gap in sentencing.

And this is why I'd sooner trust a man to be around my brothers than a woman. At least if the guy hurts them, I can call the police and/or try to beat him up without him getting away with it/me getting in trouble.

They do this for men as well in the US, but it's not really codified. If a man commits a crime against a dependent woman, she can choose not to press charges so as not to affect the income coming into the home. But I just wonder, why not apply this to all parents? Women are only the primary care givers because they choose to be.
