My employer (a large company) in NYC is marking International Men's Day exclusively by hosting a panel on "Toxic Masculinity."
I'm starting to lose my patience and good humor. Almost every single day there is a meeting or a presentation or a rude reference to "white men." The men participate enthusiastically and I legitimately can't tell if they're indoctrinated or if they're pretending like I have had to, so many times. I can feel myself turning into a reactionary and I hate it.
Attendance isn't mandatory, at least.
