Hi... I've noticed two separate women giving me IOI's (mostly eyes, long gaze holding, smiling, coyly turning away, doubletakes). So I approached both and got each their numbers. Initial convo's went ok, short, but ok. Within the next two weeks I suggested a meetup to each of them via text (single, short message). I did this twice to each, a few days apart. No overtexting, no neediness, no "asking". Tried to follow the TRP rules (been lurking for a few years). Each time I received a polite but ultimately rejecting response with no attempt to reschedule. My reply to each was a variation of "ok no worries. maybe next time."

So I think it's time to move on, and I'm fine with that. I asked twice. They said no. No need to waste the time (tho I do wonder why I got IOI's, and one kept mentioning her husband)

The issue is I will still occasionally see them, possible every day (briefly). Do I ignore? Keep chatting? Just smile and mind my own business? Wait and try again? How do you handle seeing someone who gives IOIs but rejects you?
