Shouldn't it be equally bad to ask a man what job he does, why he isn't earning more, why can't he "improve himself", why isn't he more ambitious, or to suggest he could be earning more, or is lazy, or in any other way to make a comment about his attractiveness as a husband to women?

Takes a hell of a lot more effort for men than a smile.

In some cases men are told by a judge they will be imprisoned if they don't do the equivalent of smile and wear sexy clothing. I wonder how feminists would react to that?

He was probably hitting on you, you fucking idiot holy shit, fascinating that they didn't show the whole letter but specific parts, this means there is no context and we just have to take her word for it that it was 'sinister'. Did he for instance leave his number there? Then his intentions would have been absolutely obvious. If anybody asks me why I don't try hitting on girls in the UK, I'm just going to link them this video, what a fucking lunatic.

I really want to see the full letter, yes, I'm demanding evidence of her claims, if there's no number, then okay, yeah, that is a bit weird, but really? Making it out that this is some sort of horrific crime? This screams of fakery oh and before any white knights try to jump at me, this isn't about her being a woman, it's about her posting a video up on the BBC.

I'm a man, and people tell me this all the time. While I sympathise with women who get this, it's not exclusive to women by any means.

I work in the phodo/video dept. of a large company, and a small part of it is taking ID photos of employees.

I usually take a dozen or so, choose one, and have it laminated on their employee ID card.

When it's for a woman, I always choose the most god-awful picture in the bunch.
