Just to point a few things out. I asked about the profile of students who were admitted and also the percentage of males who applied and got accepted vs females who applied and got accepted.

Even though it's usually men who enthusiastically devote themselves to programming and such, women have a 50% higher chance of getting admitted.

Just thought it'd be interesting to point out.

If all of the students who finished the major prep got in, then that means that there was no bias, because admissions were fully objective, i.e., if you met the qualifications you got in, and if not, you didn't.

Maybe I'm not reading this correctly. What is the "major prep"?

Everyone that 'finished all the major prep..." got in, it just happens that a higher percentage of whatever number of women who applied managed to do that compared to whatever number of men who applied.

Which doesn't seem that surprising to me, many fewer women probably applied.

It didn't though. It shows that there was a disparity, not that bias caused the disparity.
