The problem of sexual harassment/assault is an awful one. Splitting the trains is probably not a great solution to it. Protesting by riding the women's train is kind of a shitty thing to do to the women on that train who don't necessarily know your intentions. Slapping guys riding the women's train is completely unacceptable. It's all sad/gross all the way down.

Yes, I get that it is unfair, I get that it is stupid and it is yet another example of woman being life's easy mode..... that doesn't mean you get to flagrantly violate the rules.

I posted about this a few months ago (here and here). That there is not just discrimination in the public transport systems in India, but how it's enforced is quite misandrist. Now you can see for yourself. Separate coaches for women is all good, but I wish there was one coach for men as well.
